Grandma Dottie is the sassiest and cutest tiny grandma in the world. I've grown up with this amazingly sweet family and had the privilege of photographing something so cool. Dottie hadn't seen her brother Bill in 60 years. SIXTY. He now lives on the east coast with his family, but recently got in touch with Dottie's daughter, Laurie. So he took a trip to the west coast to stay with Laurie and her family to visit the long lost sibling. I can't imagine not seeing my brother for such a long time, but how amazing it was to see them reunited.

through the window
Left is the jail cells which can hold up to 30 inmates. Right is the young men prisoners during Sunday worship time. Praise the Lord for two new brothers in Christ!
Right: The church where John was asked to preach the good news. Literally sticks and a tin roof, but a beautiful church who loves the Lord.

Right: our bus got stuck in the mud!
(This will be "bref". Thank you Jodi for all you've been to me in Uganda. You have been an inspiration, a sound board for all of my emotion and rambling, an encouragement, a challenger, and a momma. You have such a huge heart that I love and can see Christ in you so much.)
